Thank you for all the birthday wishes!  

As a birthday gift for myself, I managed to snag an ASUS EEE Slate EP-121 tablet pc from ebay that a friend highly recommended to me as a good (affordable!) starting point for digital sketching/art. It'll hopefully help make digital linework and coloring a lot more quick and easy than using my Wacom Bamboo, since I'll actually be able to look and see exactly where my pen is going. 

I look forward to playing with it. I certainly don't plan on abandoning pencil sketches, but hopefully it'll help produce some more colored pieces!

I have mentioned before that art is not my primary source of income and, unfortunately, my main job at a distribution center has been physically and mentally taxing me far more than it had before for months. One of the reasons I had been able to start drawing fan art and post so often last year and through the beginning of this year was because I had a stable, 8 hour job. Then, suddenly, my department was forced to work longer hours for no reason other than "to be fair to other departments". I'll spare the full rant, but, in short, since the summer, my cowokers and I were working pointless overtime. Great for the bank, not so much for the body. Between that and other factors that made me lose complete faith in the company I had worked over 9 years in, I added to my stress and exhaustion levels by looking for another job. 

So the good news is, I got it! My last day at my current job will be this Wednesday and I am greatly looking forward to walking out of that warehouse for the final time. 

Once I'm recovered, settled, and used to my new job, I hope to be back to churning out art. I have so much I've been wanting to draw and I want to be able to get commissions done as quickly as I used to! I want to practice coloring both digitally and traditionally. So much to do, so little energy right now!

But yes, I wanted to thank all my followers, especially those who have commissioned me within the past few months, for their patience and support. You guys are all awesome!

I've had a lot of inquiries recently, so I thought it best to repost my commission information. ^^

Single character
Sketch: $20
Flat digital color: $35
Full digital color (w/shading): $45

Multiple characters in single image
Sketch: $15/per character
Flat digital color: $30/per character
Full digital color (w/shading): $40/per character

Things like props, backgrounds, clothes (beyond a simple shirt and/or hat), armor, complex character designs and such may be extra, depending.

Things to keep in mind before commissioning me:

• Art is not my primary source of income. I have a full-time job. Some days I am too tired for my art to look good and I will not push sub-par work onto a paying customer simply to get it to them faster. 
  
• Payment must be in full before I put pencil to paper. PayPal only. I do not accept points.
  
• You are welcome to note me to ask for progress updates. I ask that you please wait at least 48 hours after payment has been sent to inquire about your commission's progress. I often have simple sketches and even flat color done before then, but not always, depending on how busy my week is.
• I always show a sketch before moving on to color. I will not start coloring until I have approval. 
• I will happily fix things to satisfaction, however major changes that require a lot of redrawing may involve further payment. I ask many questions before starting to try and avoid this situation, but keep in mind I can not draw what is not told to me. If your character has a sword that never leaves their side, but you don't include that fact in the description, it will not be included in the price quote nor the picture.
